The Living World is an AI-powered interactive fiction experience operated by Wilbium Studios. It is provided for entertainment purposes only. The narratives, characters, and events generated within the game are fictional and any resemblance to real persons, places, or events is coincidental.

3. AI-Generated Content

The game uses artificial intelligence to generate narrative content in real time based on player input. Because AI content is dynamic and unpredictable, Wilbium Studios cannot guarantee the nature, tone, or content of any specific response. By playing, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may occasionally be unexpected, imperfect, or outside the intended tone of the experience. Wilbium Studios is not liable for any AI-generated content that you find offensive, inaccurate, or objectionable.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to The Living World requires a paid monthly subscription, currently priced at $5.00 USD per month. Your subscription grants you up to 500 turns per billing cycle. Unused turns do not roll over to the next billing period. Subscriptions are billed automatically each month through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.

5. Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for partial months, unused turns, or subscription periods already in progress. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at the email below and we will review your case.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use The Living World to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive. You agree not to attempt to circumvent the subscription system, manipulate turn counts, or interfere with the service in any way. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without refund.

7. Service Availability

We make no guarantee of uninterrupted service. The Living World may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors outside our control including third-party service outages (AI providers, database services, payment processors). We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

All design, code, branding, and original content associated with The Living World is the property of Wilbium Studios. The AI-generated narrative content produced during your play sessions is generated for your personal entertainment use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit content from this service without written permission.

9. Privacy

We collect your email address for account authentication and your play history for the purpose of saving your stories. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we do not store your payment details. By using this service you consent to this data collection.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wilbium Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use this service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from this service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
